Chimichurri Sauce
Ingredients:
1 fist full flat-leaf Italian parsley, stems removed (1 cup)
1 fist full fresh cilantro leaves (1 cup)
1/2 cup olive oil
1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
4 cloves garlic, chopped, or more to taste
3 tablespoons white wine vinegar, or more to taste
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1. Combine all ingredients into a blender or container that an immersion blender can be used.
2. Blend till mixture is of a coarse chopped consistency
3. Taste and adjust flavor, add more salt if needed
4. Store in air tight jar or container.
Use on Grilled meats, steak, chicken, pork, breads, vegetables, whatevers.
