Chow Funn

 

 

3 lb. Chow funn noodles

1 ½ cup bean sprouts

½ round onion , sliced

1/3 cup chopped green onion, 1 inch pieces

1 lb. thin sliced pork, beef, or chicken

5 Tbsp. oyster sauce

3 Tbsp.  soy sauce

1 Tbsp. sesame seed oil

1 Tbsp.  vegetable oil for sauté pork

2 cloves minced garlic

 

 

Directions:

1.     Prep noodles by rinsing with warm water to loosen. If noodles are fresh and loose, no worries. Set aside to drip dry.

2.     Heat vegetable oil in large wok, sauté garlic and pork. Continue cooking until pork is browned. 

3.     Add in sliced onion, and continue to saute for another minute. Remove from pan and set aside.

4.     Using the same pan, heat about 2 Tbsp. of oil and stir fry noodles. Saute until noodles are a little toasted brown.


5.   Add in cooked meat vegetable mixture and continue to saute. Add oyster sauce, soy sauce and sesame oil.


6.     Add bean sprouts and green onion. Continue cooking until sprouts are just cooked slightly.


7.   Transfer to large serving plate or container.
