Chow Mein Noodles using Brown Braising Sauce

 

1/2 lb. pork sliced thin or chicken meat

2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil for saute' meat

3-4  lbs chow mein noodles , udon noodles or any other type of noodles

2 medium carrots , julienned

1/2 round onion, sliced

3 cups large chopped cabbage

2 cups bean sprouts

1/4 cup chopped green onion

2 Tbsp. Sesame oil

1/4 cup Lee Kum Kee Brown Braising Sauce ( Asian section of  Supermarket)

 

 

  1. In a large non stick wok, heat 2 Tbsp. of vegetable oil and sauté meat.
  2. Add carrot, onion, cabbage, continue to cook and mix vegetables, 1 minute.
  3.  Place noodles in wok and mix with vegetables. Add sesame oil and Braising sauce.
  4. When noodles are heated through, add green onions and bean sprouts. Mix.
  5. Taste and adjust flavor
