Clam Sauce
 
 
Ingredients:
 
1 can minced clams (undrained)
1/2 round onion (minced fine)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 Tbsp. parsley (minced)
2 cups milk
1/4 cup butter ( 1/2 stick)
salt to taste
2 Tbsp. flour mixed with 1/4 cup milk, for thickening agent
   Stir well to eliminate lumps. Make more thickening agent mixture if 
   needed.
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper (optional)
 
Directions:
1. In a medium size sauce pan, melt butter and saute onions and garlic.
 
2. Add clams and clam juice .
 
3. Turn heat to medium and add milk, continue stirring to prevent milk
    from burning. 
 
4. Thicken with milk/flour mixture. Salt to taste. Add parsley.
 
5. Serve over pasta.
