
Dynamite Bang Shrimp
2 lb. Shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 egg white
Coating:
1/2 cup Potato starch
2 tsp. Garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
salt/pepper to taste
Sauce:
1/2 cup Mayo
1/3 cup Sweet chili sauce
1/4 cup Sarracha sauce,
1 tsp. Paprika
Canola Oil for deep frying
1. Prep. Sauce in a small bowl and set aside.
2. Mix shrimp with egg white.
3. Combine all coating ingredients in a medium bowl.
4. Coat several shrimp at a time in potato starch mixture. Place on flat tray.
5. Heat enough oil to deep fry shrimp. Use a medium size sauce pan or wok. Anything with deep bottom, so no need use too much oil.
6. Fry enough shrimp that will not crowd the pan. Shrimp will coo fast.
7. Remove cooked shrimp and place in a large mixing bowl.
8. Once all the shrimp are done, drizzle enough sauce over all shrimp and toss to coat all shrimp. Do not need to use all the sauce is you don't want to.
9. Transfer to serving platter a garnish with chopped green onions, black or toasted sesame seeds.
