Cold Ginger Chicken Seasoning

 Method #1
1/2 cup  minced Ginger root
2/3 cup finely chopped green onions
1/4 cup oil
2 tsp.Hawaiian salt
 
1. Add all ingredients together in an immersion blending cup. ( tall cup that can be used with an immersion blender)
2. Blend until mixture is of a pesto consistency. Not too creamy smooth.
3. Taste and adjust.
4. Sauce may be used on cold chicken or steamed fish. Be creative with its use.
 
 Method #2
1/2 cup chopped Green onion
1/2 cup finely minced Ginger
2 tsp. Kosher salt
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1 Tbsp. Sesame oil

1. In a small sauce pan, heat 1/2 cup peanut oil.
2. Place minced ginger, chopped green onion, salt, pepper, sesame oil in a heat proof bowl.
3. When oil is heated just when it starts to smoke, pour over ingredients in bowl.
4. Stir to mix ingredients with the hot oil. Let cool. It is ready to serve with Chicken.
6. Also use as a dipping sauce. Try this sauce on unseasoned grilled or pan seared chicken.
