
Hamburger Curry Stew
1 lb. ground beef
1 carrot ,diced
1/2 onion, diced
1 potato, cubed
1-2 stalks celery, cubed
1 Tbsp. curry powder
1 1/2 cup stock, beef or chicken
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp. garlic salt, or taste
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef in a medium sauce pan over high heat. Drain fat if
necessary.
2. Add onions,carrots, potato and celery and curry powder. Cook until
vegetables are transparent. Sprinkle flour in and stir to incorporate.
3. Add broth and evaporated milk, continue to simmer over low heat.
4. Season with garlic salt, start with a little, and taste untill desired
flavor.
