Hamburger Mac Goulash

1 lb. ground beef

1 can diced tomatoes

1 can tomato sauce, 16 oz

1 medium round onion, diced

2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni

2 cup beef broth

2 clove garlic, minced

2 tsp. Italian Seasoning

1 tsp. seasoned salt or garlic salt

2 bay leaf


1. In a medium sized sauce pan, brown ground beef till well done. Drain excess fat.

2. Add diced onions, garlic, Italian seasoning. Saute till onions are cooked through.

3. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, bay leaves and beef broth. Bring to a boil, then turn down heat to medium.

4. Allow tomato mixture to get to a low boil. Add the macaroni. Stir to incorporate all ingredients.

5. Turn heat to low and allow macaroni to cook.  Stir to keep macaronic cooking evenly. Cover and allow macaroni to cook.

6. When the macaroni is cooked, Its all done.

7. Serve with grated cheese on top.
