
Minute Chicken
2 lbs. chicken thighs, skinned, deboned and cut into 2-3 inch pieces.
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. garlic powder, or 2 crushed cloves
2 Tbsp. salad oil
3 Tbsp. oyster sauce
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. green onion, cut into 1’’ pieces.
1. Season chicken pieces with garlic powder.
2. Place flour and chicken pieces in a clean plastic bag and
dust chicken with flour. Make sure chicken is all coated.
3. Heat oil in a skillet and brown chicken.
4. Combine oyster sauce, chicken stock, sugar and pepper.
Add to cooked chicken. Sauce will form and thicken.
5. Cover and simmer for 1 minute over medium-low heat.
6. Add green onions.
7. Serve over hot rice or cake noodles.
