Naan Bread Dough


1 cup warm water

2 tsp. sugar

1 tsp. yeast

1/2 cup Greek Style Plain Yogurt, or just Plain yogurt

2 tsp. kosher slat

1 Tbsp. Olive Oli

1 tsp. Garlic powder.

1/2 cup finely chopped cilantro 

3+3/4  cup AP Flour


Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Knead just enough to form a dough ball. Transfer to a gallon ziplock bag, sprayed inside with Non-stick Pam spray.

Seal and let develop for several hours or refrigerate overnight.

Divide into 12-16 portions, roll out, one at a time and roll out flat. 

Cook flat bread on a hot pre heated cast iron skillet. Turn once when bubbles show.

Place on cooling rack . Store in ziplock bag in refrigerator or freezer. Heat in toaster oven at low temp to get back to fresh cooked texture.
