Seared Garlic Ahi


Ahi or whatever fish fillet you have, cut into 3/4 inch thick pieces. 

* All seasonings are to taste

Kosher salt

Coarse black pepper

Salt free Garlic Seasoning. Such as Spiceman's Garlic Lover's Garlic, from Oregon. Or whatever you got. Can use garlic powder

Smoked Paprika, Trader Joe's

Olive oil 


1. Season fish on both sides.

2. Heat a cast iron skillet of fry pan 

3. Pour enough olive oil to coat bottom of pan. Heat till oil get nice and hot. 

4. Pan sear fish till desired doneness. 

5. Serve with Tartar sauce.
