Shrimp Curry




Curry Sauce


1 1/2 Tbsp. Curry Powder
2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1/2 cup flour
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 lb. shelled/deveined raw shrimp




1.Combine garlic salt and curry powder. Set aside

2. Measure chicken broth and evaporated milk, mix and set aside.

3. In a medium saucepan, melt margarine. Add flour to margarine ndmstir 
     to make a roux.
4. Add broth and evap. milk. Heat and stir.
5. Add curry and salt. Continue to stir until sauce is thick.
6. Raisins may be added to add some sweetness and texture.
7. Add raw shrimp into sauce. Stir shrimp in heated sauce until they change
    to orange/pink in color.
8. Serve over hot rice
