
Sticky Rice
5 cups uncooked sweet mochi rice
1 large piece char siu,(1/2lb.) diced
3 lop chong, diced
1/3 cup green onions, chopped
4 shiitake mushrooms, minced
1/4 cup dried shrimp, whole or chopped
frozen green peas (optional)
1/2 tsp. Chinese five spice
3 Tbsp. sesame seed oil
2 Tbsp. dark soy sauce
3-4 Tbsp. regular soy sauce
Mix all ingredients, except the rice. Mix well, set aside. Cook rice in rice cooker. When cooker clicks off, add mixture to rice and stir in. Cover and let sit for at least 30 minutes with rice cooker on warm before eating.
