
Sweet Sour Spare Ribs
3 lbs. spare ribs
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup dark soy
1/4 cup regular shoyu
1/2 cup cidar vinegar
4 cloves garlic
1 large piece ginger, cut into thick slices
1/2 cup hot water
1. Combine brown sugar, dark soy, reg. shoyu, vinegar, garlic and ginger. Set aside.
2. In a large sauce pan, brown ribs, remove any excess fat.
3. Add hot water and sauce ingredients.
4. Simmer for 1 hour or until ribs are tender.
